0:00 A bet, with every fee shown first
This is a bet on Polymarket, placed from Telegram. Before anything is sent, you see the price, what you can win, what you can lose, and every fee. Here's the whole setup, from zero.
0:12 What PolyCopy is
PolyCopy is a free Telegram bot for Polymarket, the prediction market where people trade on sports, politics and crypto.
It does three things. It copies traders you choose. It lets you bet on sports, live included, with the price shown before you confirm. And it builds parlays: several picks in a single bet.
There's no Polymarket account to create. The bot sets everything up.
0:38 Start the bot, get a wallet
Open the bot and tap Start. That's the whole sign-up. The bot creates a wallet for you on Polygon, the network Polymarket runs on.
It's your wallet: you can export its private key at any time, from the Wallet menu. And the bot speaks English or French. Switch with /language.
0:58 Deposit USDC on Polygon
Next, the money. Polymarket runs on USDC, a stablecoin worth $1. Tap Wallet, then Deposit.
If you already have USDC, send it on the Polygon network to the address shown. It's converted into trading balance automatically, usually within a minute.
Never bought crypto? The deposit assistant walks you through it, step by step, with the app you already use. Network fees are covered: you don't need anything else in the wallet.
1:27 Who to copy (and why most whales can't be copied)
Now the core: copy trading. Here's what most people miss: the biggest winners on Polymarket's leaderboard usually can't be copied.
Some are bots, placing hundreds of orders a day. Some make money from arbitrage, not from predictions. Others bet live, when prices move within seconds. Copy them and you arrive late, at a worse price, paying fees on every trade.
That's why the bot has a Recommended list. The traders marked with a star were vetted over 12 months, on 6 criteria, like picks that win at equal stakes, and bets placed before the event. Each one has a full profile on our website.
2:08 Follow a trader, set your risk
Pick a trader, and tap Follow. Then open Risk settings. Fixed mode stakes the same amount on every copied trade, whatever the trader bets. $5 is a sensible start.
A stop loss sells a position automatically if it falls too far. A take profit locks in your profit. Want to try it first? Test mode caps your next 10 trades at $1.
From there, the bot watches the trader around the clock. When they buy, it buys for you, within your limits, and sends you a notification. Past results guarantee nothing. A good trader can have a bad month.
2:46 Sports and live betting
Prefer to make your own calls? Open Today's matches: every match over the next 48 hours, by sport and league, with live scores. Pick a match, an outcome, and an amount.
Before anything is sent, the bot shows you a summary: the price, the number of shares, what you get if it wins, and the fees.
On Polymarket, a price is a probability. A share at 15 cents pays $1 if the outcome happens. During the match, prices move with the score, and you can bet live.
3:16 Parlays
Parlays work the same way. Add 2 to 10 picks from different matches, then ask for a quote. Market makers answer with one price for the whole combination. Again, nothing is sent until you confirm.
If every pick wins, each share pays $1. If one pick loses, the parlay loses. You can also sell a parlay before the end, at the price offered at that moment.
3:41 Players' bets
Everything you hold is in Positions and parlays, with its current value. And in Players' bets, you see what other PolyCopy players are betting, and you can copy a bet in one tap.
3:54 Fees and availability
Fees, plainly: PolyCopy takes 2% of each position, copied or manual. On sports, Polymarket adds its own fee, and the bot shows it before you confirm.
One last thing. Polymarket isn't available everywhere: it's restricted in several countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom and France. Check the rules where you live. You must be 18 or over. Only bet what you can afford to lose.
